Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's fight sport experience began at 14 years old. After training in kickboxing boxing wrestling BJJ and BJJ she was able to make her debut as an amateur against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she was 18 years old. Ladd gained momentum from this victory and then went on to a three-fight victory streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents within the first round of all fights. She then returned to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen took on Silvia Babaeghian, and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-one. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to make her professional d but. Invicta Fc 11, she took on Ana Carolina Vidal and won her fight in the opening round with a TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her first match as a Bantamweight. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission at the end of the second round. Aspen made use of her superlative grappling skills to defeat McGill before ending her bout with third-round TKO(elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd was unable to reach her weight. But, Aspen was able to take on Hoy. She finished her with a TKO after the second round. It was Invicta's FC 21 that she fought her last event for the company. The winner was Sijara Ebanks in a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut took place during UFC Fight Night 118 where she was up against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina as she used a combination of ground and pound to defeat her by TKO during the second round. In her next fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus for her performance on the night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was Ladd's first big fight. The victory of Ladd was a unanimous decision and her Fight of the Night award went to the two fighters. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in 16-seconds to break her winning streak. In the third round of UFC on ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. Her most recent bout for the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. The fight was a unanimous decision.
