In 2016, he released Sweatshirt as his debut single. Jacob's initial single Sweatshirt became an instant hit. It became 9th most popular musician. He released his first EP in 2017titled The Last Text. Then, he released five EPs to date, namely, The Last Text, Left Me In Hangin, Better You, Where have You been?, Lost But Found as well as Sleep When I'm dead. Jacob Sartorius enjoys a large online following. His Instagram followers are more than 11.3million as do his TikTok fans total 23.6 million. The YouTube channel he refers to as himself "Self-titled" has around 3,000,000 followers.
